Payment methods
To purchase items or subscriptions from Stryda, you must have a valid, accepted payment method such as a credit card or PayPal account. This payment method must belong to you personally.
If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian can make purchases for you. You must have permission from your parent or legal guardian before making any purchase, regardless of which payment method you use.
Virtual currencies
Stryda service offers several virtual currencies which have their own uses within the Stryda service. These virtual currencies can only be used within the Stryda service and cannot be exchanged for money. These currencies are Tokens and Coins.
You cannot trade, exchange, or giveaway your virtual currency to another user. You cannot share your account or wallet with another user. Allowing another user to access your account or wallet will result in you being banned.
If your User Account is shut down for any reason (for example, if you are banned or choose to close your account), any virtual currency you have will also be deleted. Stryda may also expire unused virtual currency or change or remove virtual currencies from the platform. This virtual currency cannot be “paid out” or exchanged for real money.
Tokens
Tokens are used to enter competitions such as Ladders.
Tokens can be earned through Battle Pass rewards or Daily Rewards or can be purchased through Stryda.
Each time you want to enter points into the Ladders, you will need to pay the entry fee in Tokens. Once you have paid your entry fee, your next points will automatically be added to the Ladders.
Coins
Coins can be earned through Battle Pass rewards, Daily Rewards and Ladders. Coins are used to purchase items from the Stryda shop.
Purchasing virtual currency
You can purchase Tokens through the Stryda website. When you make your first purchase, you will need to add a payment method to your account. After this, any purchases you make can be made with a saved payment method or a new payment method.
You can only purchase tokens for your own account, and any purchases must be made using a payment method that you own.
Purchases of virtual currencies are non-refundable.
Competition entry fees
Entry to competitions (Ladders) are paid using virtual currency. You cannot use “real money” to enter competitions. Competition fees cannot be refunded except in exceptional cases, such as if we cannot find a team for you to join or the competition is canceled.
Stryda Shop
The shop is where you can exchange your Coins for prizes. To claim an item from the shop, you must have enough Coins in your Wallet.
Once you have exchanged Coins for an item in the Stryda shop, this item cannot be refunded except where required by law. Refundable exchanges are subject to a 14-day cooling-off period. Should you wish to cancel your exchange during this time, please contact Customer Support before the end of this 14 day period.
Non-refundable goods and products include those delivered through non-physical media (e.g., voucher codes, computer software, and digital media) and thus considered consumed upon delivery, and products that by their nature are tailored or personalized, have a limited life span or deteriorate quickly.

Subscriptions
Stryda users can choose to subscribe to Stryda Premium. While Stryda Premium offers some additional features, it is entirely optional. You can still compete in Missions and Ladders without subscribing to Stryda Premium.
When you sign up for Stryda Premium, you will be able to choose whether you want to be billed every 30 days, 90 days, or 365 days. Your subscription will automatically renew after every period.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Stryda account. Stryda Premium payments are made in advance, which means that when you cancel your subscription, you will not be refunded for your previous payment, and any time left in that period will still be valid. For example, if you choose to be billed every 90 days but cancel your subscription on day 35, you will still have access to Stryda Premium features for the remaining 55 days. However, you will not be billed again at the end of this period.
Subscriptions are subject to a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of your original purchase. Should you wish to cancel your subscription during this time, please contact Customer Support. Stryda reserves the right to deduct any days you have already used during this period from your refund. The 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to renewal payments.
You will receive an email receipt each time you are billed for your subscription. You can only purchase subscriptions for your own account, and any purchases must be made using a payment method that you own.
Tournament prizes
Some Tournaments may offer prize money for the winners. Once the winners of the competition have been determined, the funds will be deposited into your Stryda Wallet. As long as your account balance is over a certain amount, you can choose to withdraw monetary funds to a Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, or bank account. Available withdrawal methods may vary depending on your country of residence.
You are responsible for any taxes or fees associated with withdrawing your prize money. Every individual is responsible for being aware of the laws on winnings from skill-based esport tournaments in their country. Stryda is not responsible for making sure you follow these laws.
We recommend every user contact the relevant authorities if they have any questions about skilled-based esports winnings.
