Questions and answers

To complete identity verification successfully, you will need the following:
  • Identity document
  • Device with camera
  • Proof of residence
To start the process, click on the button Verify your identity.

Read the information and continue by clicking the button Confirm.

Proof of identity

In the first step, you need to upload a valid proof of identity. You can provide one of the following: passport, driver’s license, ID card, or residence permit.
There are a few things to consider before uploading your identity document:
  • It cannot be expired or damaged
  • All corners must be visible in the photo
  • The quality of the photo must be readable
  • Edited photos will be rejected

Once your valid proof of identity has been uploaded, continue by clicking Next.

Selfie or liveness check

In the following stage you will need to pass a liveness check by providing a selfie.
There are a few things to consider before the liveness check:
  • Make sure your face is clearly visible
  • Make sure that there are no other people visible in the camera
  • The environment where you take the selfie is well lit

When your face is successfully recognized, you will be directed to the final stage, where you must upload a valid proof of residence.

Proof of residence

Please read carefully to find out what qualifies as a valid proof of address:
  • Bank statement
  • Credit card statement
  • Tax invoice
  • Government-issued residential statements/certificates
  • Driver’s license (if it contains address)
  • Energy provider bill
  • Mortgage statement
  • Certificate of voter registration
  • Gas bill
  • Electricity bill
  • Water bill
  • Cable company bill (not from satellite TV companies)
  • Landline telephone bill
Please read carefully to find out what does not qualify as a valid proof of address:
  • Mobile phone bills
  • Medical bills
  • Receipts for purchases
  • Insurance statements
There are a few things to consider before uploading your proof of address:
  • It must contain your full name and address, including the street name and number
  • You can either take a picture of the original proof of address document or upload an unedited PDF file
  • Screenshots are not accepted
  • Utility bills cannot be older than 3 months
  • You can use your ID document as proof of address, if it contains your home address information. But in this case, you will need to provide a different type of ID document as your proof of identity. You can't use the same document to prove both your address and your identity
Once your valid proof of address is uploaded, proceed by clicking Next.

In the final stage, you will have the opportunity to go back and edit your uploaded documents.

Questions and Answers

I don’t have a valid proof of address, what should I do?

Even if you do not own property, you should be able to use another valid document that shows your address. Please check the list provided above, and obtain one of the documents. Note that you will not be able to pass the check without a document that proves your address. It is absolutely necessary to provide it for verification, along with your selfie and ID document.

If I don’t have a valid proof of address with my name, can I upload my parent’s documents?

No. All documents that you provide for verification have to be your own.

I am under 18, how can I pass the identity verification?

You can pass identity verification from 16. If you don't have supporting documents your parent/legal guardian can do this on behalf of you.

But I am allowed to play if I am 16 years old, how can I withdraw?

You can withdraw if you have all the supporting documents and a payment method. If you don't have one of the required things, your parent or legal guardian can withdraw on your behalf. Please read how to do that in this article

You can only change your documents before you submit your application for verification.

I don’t have any of the required documents, can someone else pass identity verification for me?

It is strictly prohibited to use someone else’s details in the identity verification. If you do not comply with this rule, you risk being suspended from the Stryda services.
