How does the Stryda plugin work?

The plugin is what tracks your stats and progression as long as you keep it running while you play. While you’re playing, you can also use the overlay to see your Mission progress and enter points into the Ladders.

You can download the plugin via the PC app. Simply, open the profile menu and click on "Download plugin". Alternatively, you can download the plugin via the link below:

The Stryda icon will appear at the left top corner of your screen when the plugin is running and you start a supported game.

Make sure that you are launching the Stryda App and the plugin, as both of these need to be running in order for the tracking to work.

I have connected my Steam account and Riot account to my profile, do I still need to run the plug-in?

There are a couple of exceptions where you do not need to run the plugin or the PC App. VALORANT, League of Legends, and PUBG stats are tracked via API, therefore running a plugin in the background is not required in those instances.

Overwolf

The plugin is powered by Overwolf which means that it's safe to use for all supported games. It tracks in-game events such as kills, wins, goals, and details like what weapons you’re using and the character you’re playing. Because the plugin only tracks the game events for stats and progression it doesn't affect your game performance. Learn more about Overwolf.
